Health
ERRIN’s Health Working Group (WG) supports members with early intelligence and regular updates about EU-level health policy-related issues, regulations, EU programmes and their funding opportunities. Creating opportunities for interregional cooperation in the Health area is one of the WG’s main objectives. The WG is also a vehicle for networking, profile raising and promoting good practices and projects among health stakeholders in the ERRIN regions.

Science Café: Gene editing & Nanorobots
The next Science Café event will discuss Gene Editing & Nanorobots. Scientist Alžběta Ressnerová from CEITEC will share insights on nanorobots for biological applications. This event will take place on 30 November from 18:30-20:30 at Prague House, Brussels.
Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) Annual Conference
The Annual Conference of the European Partnership on Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) will be held on 30 November in a hybrid format. THCS is a Cofund action under the Horizon Europe Programme designed to support coordinated national and regional research and innovation programmes along with capacity building, networking, dissemination and other key activities to support health and care systems transformation.
One Health Fair
The UK Mission to the EU invites you to an interactive One Health Fair in collaboration with over 15 expert partners, including those representing UK member regions of ERRIN. The event will take place on 22 November from 17:00-21:00 at the British Residence, Rue Ducale 17, Brussels.

The new European Innovation Agenda unveiled
On 5 July, the European Commission adopted the new European Innovation Agenda with the aim of positioning Europe at the forefront of the new wave of deep tech innovation and start-ups. The document, to which ERRIN submitted input in May this year, sets out 25 dedicated actions under five flagships, including on European Innovation Ecosystems.

Lipids – key to the beneficial effects of exercise and the missing piece of Parkinson’s disease pathophysiology
We are international consortium of 3 research groups applying for the EU Joint Programme – Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND) “Understanding the mechanisms of non-pharmacological interventions”. The title of our project is “Lipids – key to the beneficial effects of exercise and the missing piece of Parkinson’s disease pathophysiology”. Our project application already passed the first qualification stage and we were invited to submit full proposal.

The European mHealth Hub takes stock of existing experiences on integration of mHealth in health systems
The European mHealth Hub is a project established by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Regional Ministry of Health of Andalusia (Spain), together with 17 other European partners. The project is collecting relevant experience in integrating mHealth solutions into the healthcare system in Europe.
