Health
ERRIN’s Health Working Group (WG) supports members with early intelligence and regular updates about EU-level health policy-related issues, regulations, EU programmes and their funding opportunities. Creating opportunities for interregional cooperation in the Health area is one of the WG’s main objectives. The WG is also a vehicle for networking, profile raising and promoting good practices and projects among health stakeholders in the ERRIN regions.

Health WG meeting: The 2024 EU Health Agenda
This Health WG meeting will provide an overview of the EU 2024 health agenda and a networking opportunity to start the year. The meeting will take place from 15:30-17:30 on 15 January 2024 at the ERRIN offices, Rue du Luxembourg 3 (8th floor), 1000 Brussels.

Science Café: Gene editing & Nanorobots
The next Science Café event will discuss Gene Editing & Nanorobots. Scientist Alžběta Ressnerová from CEITEC will share insights on nanorobots for biological applications. This event will take place on 30 November from 18:30-20:30 at Prague House, Brussels.
Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) Annual Conference
The Annual Conference of the European Partnership on Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) will be held on 30 November in a hybrid format. THCS is a Cofund action under the Horizon Europe Programme designed to support coordinated national and regional research and innovation programmes along with capacity building, networking, dissemination and other key activities to support health and care systems transformation.
One Health Fair
The UK Mission to the EU invites you to an interactive One Health Fair in collaboration with over 15 expert partners, including those representing UK member regions of ERRIN. The event will take place on 22 November from 17:00-21:00 at the British Residence, Rue Ducale 17, Brussels.

NEIA implementation report & Regional Innovation Valleys update
On 20 March, the Commission published the first report on the state of play of the New European Innovation Agenda, following its launch in July 2022. The document outlines the progress and achievements with regard to the 25 actions under Agenda’s five flagships, including the Regional Innovation Valleys. On the same day, an EU R&I Days debate on the way forward for RIVs was also held.
Horizon Europe strategic plan 2025-2027 is out

Express your interest in the 3rd Interreg Europe call via the ERRIN Project Development Tool
Interreg Europe's 3rd call for proposals, launched on 20 March, supports interregional cooperation projects addressing common regional development challenges. Organisations can use the ERRIN Project Development tool to express interest and find partners. The call is open until 7 June 2024.
Marching towards FP10 – ERRIN activity update
As we enter March and approach the European R&I Days, several ERRIN activities planned for 2024 with a link to FP10 have already taken place, and more are on their way. Health InnoFacilitator project launches call for receiving tailored procurement coaching sessions
The EU-funded project Health InnoFacilitator invites public procurers operational in the provisioning of health and social care to apply for the Call for Coaching Sessions to receive advice to facilitate the launch of future tenders to procure innovative solutions. Coaching will be given on either "Advise public buyers on the formulation of their needs" or "Advise public buyers on the PPI process". The deadline for application is 29 February.

The European mHealth Hub takes stock of existing experiences on integration of mHealth in health systems
The European mHealth Hub is a project established by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Regional Ministry of Health of Andalusia (Spain), together with 17 other European partners.
