ICT
The main objective of the ICT Work Group is to act as a platform to discuss and share information on ICTrelated initiatives and funding opportunities in relation to the European Commission’s policy priority “A Europe fit for the digital age”. Especially highlighting the regional dimension of the ICT-field, the WG aims to create opportunities for interregional cooperation in the field of ICT by linking with other areas and sectors such as smart cities, energy, transport, health or culture.

Digital health technologies supporting the self-management of chronic diseases: how to demonstrate evidence facilitating high acceptance and large-scale uptake in the reimbursement markets?
The large-scale uptake of Digital health technologies (DHT) including digital health applications will make significant contribution to a sustainable design of European health systems in the future. This webinar will focus on data collection and clinical trial design for chronic disease self-management. The event will take place online on 20 June, 14:00-15:30.
Training workshop: Making innovation work for society
The REINFORCING project will host a series of training workshops focused on enhancing innovation through co-creation. Digital Ocean Forum 2024
The Digital Ocean Forum 2024 will take place on Thursday 13 June, both in-person in Brussels and online. It will be the occasion to unveil the prototype of the Digital Twin of the Ocean (DTO) and to showcase what the EU DTO, as a Commission public service, can do for the sustainable development of our blue economies and the management of our ocean resources.

Odense University Hospital search for Intereg call partners for Fair Access to Digital Health Communication
The research and innovation unit CIMT (Centre for Innovative Medical Technology) at Odense University Hospital in the Region of Southern Denmark is in search of an opportunity to join forces in a consortium to tackle the challenges in healthcare collectively. The Interreg call focuses on fair access to digital health communication.
Scalable Cities Action Grant: third call for proposals open
The third call for proposals of the Scalable Cities Action Grant is open until the end of January 2024. The grant aims to financially support cities and ad-hoc partnerships that wish to replicate measures that were successfully implemented through Smart Cities and Communities projects to facilitate the transition towards climate neutrality.
The European Heritage Hub project is looking for good practices
The European Heritage Hub is collecting good practices to share throughout Europe and beyond! Administrations of a city or region are asked to submit highlights of their work in heritage in the context of the ‘triple transformation ’ – green, digital and social – of our society. Ten practices will be selected for publication and promotion through the European Heritage Hub. Cities whose good practices are selected also get the opportunity to host a peer learning visit with a delegation of 20 participants funded by the project (3 peer learning visits will take place between Q2 2024 and Q1 2025).

EU City Calculator: a learning programme to support public authorities in reaching climate neutrality
From 26 February 2024, all European cities will have the opportunity to enroll in the EUCityCalc project's learning programme to learn how to collect data and use the EU City Calculator tool, which is an open source online platform that allows local councils and other stakeholders to visualise and simulate low-carbon scenarios for their towns and cities, as well as to assess the trade-offs related to available choices.
