ICT
The main objective of the ICT Work Group is to act as a platform to discuss and share information on ICTrelated initiatives and funding opportunities in relation to the European Commission’s policy priority “A Europe fit for the digital age”. Especially highlighting the regional dimension of the ICT-field, the WG aims to create opportunities for interregional cooperation in the field of ICT by linking with other areas and sectors such as smart cities, energy, transport, health or culture.

ERRIN Spring AGM 2024
ERRIN’s 2024 Spring Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 20 June from 15:00 to 17:15 CEST, followed by networking drinks until 19:00. This year, the event will be held in person at Scotland House (Scotland Europa, Rdpt Robert Schuman 6, 1040 Bruxelles).
Digital health technologies supporting the self-management of chronic diseases: how to demonstrate evidence facilitating high acceptance and large-scale uptake in the reimbursement markets?
The large-scale uptake of Digital health technologies (DHT) including digital health applications will make significant contribution to a sustainable design of European health systems in the future. This webinar will focus on data collection and clinical trial design for chronic disease self-management. The event will take place online on 20 June, 14:00-15:30.
Training workshop: Making innovation work for society
The REINFORCING project will host a series of training workshops focused on enhancing innovation through co-creation. These workshops will cover identifying societal needs, methods for integrating co-creation into research and innovation, and developing skills for effective uptake and facilitation. Tech4SmartCities 2024 will be organised on 18 June, back to back with the GreenTech Forum Brussels. This B2B event focuses on sustainable and smart digital technologies for cities and invites interested stakeholders to discover business and cooperation opportunities in the fields of urban mobility, energy performance, sustainable construction, circularity, low carbon economy and digital transformation.
Digital Ocean Forum 2024
The Digital Ocean Forum 2024 will take place on Thursday 13 June, both in-person in Brussels and online. It will be the occasion to unveil the prototype of the Digital Twin of the Ocean (DTO) and to showcase what the EU DTO, as a Commission public service, can do for the sustainable development of our blue economies and the management of our ocean resources.

EU Missions creating new markets: the crucial role of the triple helix collaboration

DT4REGIONS Award- Voting now open for Public's Favourite Award
In response to the call for applications for the DT4REGIONS Award, 34 AI and Big Data solutions have been submitted. A dedicated jury has selected 12 solutions on the basis of five criteria. Voting for the Public's Favourite Award is open until 12:00 on 19 May.

ERRIN Spring AGM 2023 – taking stock of the EU Missions

Following the format part with the update from the network, the main focus was the EU Missions, approached in two policy debates, on the support and implementation frameworks in Adaptation, Ocean and Waters and Soil Missions, and the governance innovation and the perspective on Cities and the Cancer Missions.
