Transport
The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

Living Labs in EU Missions and Partnerships

Policy & Smart Specialisation WGs meeting: Widening in FP10 and impact on cohesion policy post-2027
Widening and deepening engagement in R&I has been one of ERRIN's priorities. This joint Policy and Smart Specialisation Working Groups meeting will concentrate on widening as one of the key issues to address in the FP10 debate, considering also its impact on cohesion policy post-2027. The event will be held in person at the ERRIN premises on 22 May from 10:00-12:00.

Mobile Europe: Consortium seeks Coordinator
The “Mobile Europe” project will assess the implications of mobility in Europe based on current social and economic objectives. The project will politically advance the achievement of such objectives by deriving adequate interventions.
8th Cohesion Report: findings on regional innovation in Europe
The European Commission has published the 8th Cohesion Report: Cohesion in Europe towards 2050. According to the findings, while the Cohesion policy has, in general, helped to narrow territorial and social disparities between regions in the EU, the regional innovation divide in Europe has grown.

Plenary Meeting of the S3 European Hydrogen Valleys Partnership and call for input
On 20 June 2023, ERRIN participated in the Plenary Meeting of the S3 European Hydrogen Valleys Partnership, hosted in the House of the Dutch Provinces in Brussels. In this context, ERRIN with its Energy & Climate Working Group is in the process of producing an input paper building on the work of the S3 Partnership on Hydrogen Valleys and collecting ERRIN’s members’ needs, challenges and solutions.

RECIPROCITY: Outcomes of the Istanbul Mobility Mission and new opportunities for members!
ERRIN recently participated in the RECIPROCITY Mobility Mission held in Istanbul from 23-26 May. This mission was a valuable opportunity to explore Istanbul’s innovative mobility ecosystem, engage in knowledge sharing and discuss best practices. The RECIPROCITY project launched its Funding & Legal Helpdesk which can provide Cities & Municipalities with the necessary support regarding legal and financing issues in the replication of smart and clean mobility projects. By utilising this service, your organisation can request technical advice on public funding options, financing methods for mobility projects, as well as on institutional cooperation and legal support for the development of sustainable mobility projects.
