Transport
The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

Adaptation Task Force meeting
The first meeting of the ERRIN Adaptation Task Force will take place on 24 January (10:00-11:00) at the ERRIN premises. During the meeting, we will present the two new ERRIN projects linked to the Adaptation Mission: RESIST and PEERS. We will also discuss the next steps for the Mission itself in view of the launch event of the Community of Practice.
Transport WG meeting: Multimodal Digital Mobility Services (MDMS)
The event will be an occasion to hear from Victoire Champenois – Policy Officer, Unit B.4 Sustainable and Intelligent Transport, DG MOVE – who will present the MDMS initiative as well as examples of MAAS developed by ERRIN members while discussing regional needs and expectations.

RECIPROCITY - From learning to replicating: focus on AI solutions - Workshop on Paris' good practices
The RECIPROCITY project is organising a workshop on the replication of two Mobility best practices on AI. On this occasion, the Institute of International Transport Law (IDIT) will address the legal barriers to the replication of innovative mobility solutions.

Exploring Synergies between European Partnerships and EU Missions – Mutual Learning Event
ERRIN and the TRAMI project are organising a Mutual Learning Event aiming to explore synergies between European Partnerships and EU Missions. The event will take place on Wednesday 7 February from 9:00 to 12:00 (CET) at the NCBR Brussels Office, Rue Belliard 40, Brussels.
Third NetZeroCities call for Pilot Cities now open!
NetZeroCities has opened its third and final call for cities to join the two-year Pilot Cities Programme. The call is open only to Mission Cities who are not yet part of the Pilot Cities Programme. The deadline for applications is 18 March 2024.
Innovation Fund calls to drive net-zero technologies open until April 2024
With a budget of €4 billion, the Commission has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting innovative projects that contribute to the EU’s green transition goals. The Innovation Fund 2023 calls covering sectors including decarbonisation, hydrogen, cleantech manufacturing, and maritime and energy-intensive industries are open until 9 April 2024, 17:00 (CET).
Available support to regions in EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change
On 12 December 2023, the ERRIN Adaptation Task Force organised a hybrid event providing an overview of the available financial and technical support for regions and communities under the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change. ERRIN end of year reception - 2023 Highlights
On 7 December, ERRIN celebrated the network’s achievements in 2023. Following an engaging meeting with leaders of our 15 Working Groups, all ERRIN members were invited to a cocktail reception featuring a keynote from Markus Schulte, Head of Cabinet of Iliana Ivanova, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth. MOSAIC wraps up a successful co-creation journey with EU cities
In a dynamic two-day event held on 21 and 22 November, MOSAIC, project in which ERRIN is a partner, successfully hosted its final event 'Co-creation in EU Missions'. City representatives, European Commission policy officers, researchers, private sector representatives and co-creation experts converged to delve the immense potential of co-creation in addressing complex challenges, particularly those posed by the Horizon EU Missions. UCRS’ (Educational-Center Ringkøbing-Skjern, Denmark) vision is to create a European Ecosystem of skills within green energy for vehicles by establishing a triangle of knowledge involving vocational education and training, auto industry partners (auto repair shops and vehicles manufacturers) and research partners. RECIPROCITY - Mobility Roadmap Workshops in November
RECIPROCITY is organising a set of three cross-border Mobility Roadmap Workshops destined and open to any interested mobility stakeholder willing to learn more about the previous results of the project and analyse different mobility use cases for replication adapted to local cases. Each of the three workshops will focus on a different geographic area of Europe – Eastern European Workshop, Central European Workshop and Western European Workshop.

Call for expression of interest for members of the 4 JTP working groups (DG REGIO)
The Commission has launched the Just Transition Platform (JTP) to assist MS and regions to unlock the support available through the Just Transition Mechanism. An important part of this new instrument is the exchange with stakeholders on the just transition in carbon-intensive regions. To shape this exchange, DG REGIO has launched a Call for expression of interest for members of the JTP working groups.
