The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

Youth engagement in the green transition
ERRIN Transport WG, alongside ERRIN's member cities and regions, are organising 'youth engagement and green transition', an event to discuss how to reach the mission goal with representatives from the institutions, public authorities and young delegates. The event will take place on 11 October as part of the European Week of Regions and Cities.

RECIPROCITY second Mobility Mission - Helsinki
RECIPROCITY, project in which ERRIN is a partner, is organising its second Mobility Mission in Helsinki, Finland on 5 -7 October 2022. The event is free of charge. Participants can apply for a travel voucher to get reimbursed for travel and accommodation expenses.

The European Research and Innovation Days (RiDaysEU) is the European Commission’s annual flagship Research and Innovation event. This year’s edition will take place online on 28 – 29 September.
Urban Mobility Days
Urban Mobility Days 2022 will be held on 20-22 September in the city of Brno, Czech Republic. During plenary session 2 on 'TEN-T Urban Nodes', (9:30 AM -10:50 AM | 09/22/2022) Françoise Guaspare, Senior Policy Advisor, Île-de-France Europe and co-leader of the Transport WG will intervene by presenting some key points of our ERRIN Polis opinion on the TEN-T regulation.
Transport WG meeting: Presentation of the 2023-2024 Horizon Europe calls and updates on the ERRIN-POLIS opinion on the TEN-T regulation
After the summer break, the Transport WG will meet again on September 8 from 14:30 to 16:30. The meeting will be an occasion to introduce our new WG leader, Anna Tranberg, Stockholm Region EU Office, provide an update on the ERRIN-POLIS opinion on the TEN-T regulation, and present the 2023-2024 Horizon Europe calls with Marina Martínez, CDTI-SOST Office.

Mission Ocean and Waters Technical Assistance Call
The European Commission launched a call for technical assistance to support communities of stakeholders working with ports, islands and fisheries. Set within the sea basins of the Mission Ocean and Waters - the Mediterranean, Atlantic & Arctic, Danube, and North & Baltic Sea - this technical assistance aims to empower and guide these communities towards impactful and sustainable feasibility studies for their projects to achieve the Mission objectives. 23 new Mission Cities awarded the Mission Label
During a dedicated session at the EU Research & Innovation Days, 23 new cities part of the EU Mission on 100 climate-neutral and smart cities were awarded the Mission Label for their plans to achieve climate neutrality by 2030. ERRIN is pleased to see that 15 cities are located in ERRIN member regions.

Sohjoa Last Mile Survey - the obstacles of automated public transport in the European Single Market
Feedback is sought on automated public transport obstacles in the European single market. The survey results will be used in the Sohjoa Last Mile research project and answers will be processed anonymously. Call for input - Dialogue with European Commission on Mission Starfish 2030
ERRIN is organising an informal discussion together with the European Commission on the Mission area: healthy oceans, seas, coastal and inland waters with a particular focus on exploring the proposed 'area-based lighthouse demonstrators'. Ahead of the dialogue, ERRIN members are invited to provide input.
