Transport
The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

Regulatory sandboxes in the energy sector
The Energy and Climate Change Working Group is organising its upcoming meeting on regulatory sandboxes in the energy sector on Tuesday 12 December from 14:00 to 15:30 CET. The meeting will take place at ERRIN's office (Rue Luxembourg 3, 1000 Brussels) and will be accessible online for non-Brussels participants.
Creating Value in Mobility ecosystems
Coventry University & BOOSTERLabs, members of the Inno-Mob project consortium, are holding an online workshop, "Creating Value in French #Mobility Ecosystems," on 12 December 2023. The workshop will present the upcoming funding opportunities under Horizon Europe 2024 calls and will feature an interactive co-design session using the #EIT Value Creation Model.

EIT Urban Mobility, a flagship EU initiative for sustainable urban mobility, is searching for a city/PTA partner for our Interreg Europe project on greening (and energy efficiency) of public transport. Project opportunities for members in the Missions-related calls under Horizon Europe
ERRIN has been actively involved in supporting its members - regions and their R&I ecosystems - in developing successful proposals under the EU Missions calls of the Horizon Europe programme. Regional Innovation Valleys calls for proposals launched!
The first Regional Innovation Valleys calls for proposals under the European Innovation Ecosystems (EIE) part of Horizon Europe and under the Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) Instrument of the ERDF were launched by the European Commission on 17 May with an overall budget of EUR 122 million. The closing date for applying is 17 October 2023.

Pathways2Resilience launches Expression of Interest
The Pathways2Resilience programme has launched its Expression of Interest questionnaire. The programme will allocate €21 million across 100 regions and communities through two call cycles, while also providing them with a range of support services and capacity-building activities to support the formulation of local resilience pathways and innovation agendas. The deadline for local and regional public authorities to express their interest in the programme is 15 September.
