Kicking off the work of ERRIN’s Management Board in 2026

On 29 January, the ERRIN Management Board launched its activities in 2026, welcoming two new members, electing new Co-Chairs and a Treasurer, and approving the ERRIN Cluster Annual Work Plans for this year.

A warm welcome to the two new members on the Board: Cécile Combette-Murin, Head of the Normandy Region Brussels Office, and Michael Johnsson, Director of the Region Skåne Brussels Office, following the elections in autumn 2025.

We also bid a cordial farewell to members leaving the Board this year: Sarah English, Head of Scotland Europa, Rasmus Anker-Møller, Director of the South Denmark European Office, and Olivia de Lasteyrie, Director of Ile-de-France Europe. Thank you for all the years of your invaluable contributions.

The new Co-Chairs include Vendula Nováčková, Head of Representation of the South Moravian Region to the EU Office, Joanna Kubiak, Acting Director of the Wielkopolska Region Brussels Office, and Pieter Faber, Head of Cities Northern Netherlands EU Office. They are accompanied by Håvard Tangvik, Director of the Trøndelag European Office, as the Treasurer.

All the members of the Board gathered on 29 January for the meeting kindly hosted by the Trøndelag European Office, engaging in discussions to guide ERRIN’s strategic direction this year. Some 70 additional colleagues leading the work of the Working Groups on a day-to-day basis joined them to present the ERRIN Cluster Annual Work Plans. These have been prepared over the last months based on the results of the member survey and strategic workshops involving the Working Group leaders. The evening ended with networking drinks, allowing for the Management Board members and Working Group leaders to exchange ideas and discuss the upcoming network activities.

The ERRIN Cluster Annual Work Plans will be published for everyone soon! We will keep you posted.
