Design & Creativity
The Design & Creativity WG aims to raise awareness of design and creativity as tools and drivers for innovation in different sectors and across Europe. Our objectives are the following: To present challenges; especially in relation to sectors that do not yet work with design (thinking) and creativity; to showcase the importance of design & creativity through good examples and concrete cases; to create a strong and vital community among our stakeholders across Europe through a bottom-up approach; to connect designers, thinkers, business, policy and society interested in finding common solutions for different challenges and to create opportunities for the WG members to develop project proposals, share their ideas, stories and ongoing activities with the EU community.

ERRIN Autumn Annual General Meeting 2022

Lost in NEB? Examples, visions and the way forward
The ERRIN Bauhaus taskforce is organising an event on 29 November which aims to discuss the initiatives from different perspectives taking stock of what has been implemented so far, understanding the various links to get a clear, coherent picture, and exploring the next steps.
Smart Tourism Destinations Project - Webinar #2
Smart Tourism Destinations is a European Commission initiative to support EU cities to facilitate access to tourism and hospitality products and services through technological innovation. The initiative is hosting a series of webinars addressing a range of topics related to innovative digital solutions for tourism. the next one will take place on 17 November and will focus on the deployment of data management and technological solutions for innovation in smart destinations.
Education for Climate Days
The Education for Climate Days 2022 will happen from the 7th to 9th of November this year. Under the theme of "co-creating learning for climate resilience", each day will focus on one key Education for Climate issue.

Partner search for Creative Europe call for revitalising heritage sites
The City of Vincennes is leading a project on creative opportunities to revitalise heritage sites and is searching for an additional partner. The project: the creation of 3 video-mapping films of approximately 15 minutes which will then be projected on 3 heritage sites, in a setting chosen by the partner (specific event, already existing festival, etc.).
Search for "transfer partner" for a EUI-IA call
The Municipality of Koper from Slovenia is searching for a third “transfer partner” within their project L.I.B.E.R.T.A.S. (Lifelong Broad community participation for Energy efficient Reappropriation of cultural heritage Trough Active Social and cultural citizen Involvement) which will be submitted for the EUI-IA. Management Board elections 2022 – results
Between 3 and 17 October, ERRIN members could put forward their candidatures for this year’s ERRIN Management Board elections. Five new Management Board members were selected and approved at the Autumn Annual General Meeting on 8 December.

The Horizon Europe work programme 2023-24 has been adopted by the European Commission.
NEB funding opportunities for 2023 and 2024 published
The New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative is supported by a combination of different EU financing instruments. The overview of the available support for the years 2023-2024 has been just updated on the NEB website.
Launch of transition pathways for social and proximity economy
The purpose of the call is to collect pledges from stakeholders on the concrete actions that they will take to help achieve the shared action areas identified in the Transition Pathway. The initial deadline to submit pledges is 28 February 2023.

Partner Search Creative Europe - Young Europeans in Utopia
The University of Angers is actively seeking for partners for a medium-scale cooperation Creative Europe project. The aim of this project is to involve young Europeans to create and co-produce new ideas of projected utopia. Through cultural and social diversity of historical or actual concrete utopias in Europe, the generation of new ideas will allow/induce new practices between young Europeans in term of cooperation, exchanges and experimentations. The productions will be valued in transnational immersive and inclusive digital supports, disseminated and promoted, in order to become cultural and creative levers to “make in another way”/ “make otherwise” and innovate in the Europe of tomorrow.
