ICT
The main objective of the ICT Work Group is to act as a platform to discuss and share information on ICTrelated initiatives and funding opportunities in relation to the European Commission’s policy priority “A Europe fit for the digital age”. Especially highlighting the regional dimension of the ICT-field, the WG aims to create opportunities for interregional cooperation in the field of ICT by linking with other areas and sectors such as smart cities, energy, transport, health or culture.

Expression of interest: Circular Cities and Regions Initiative Multi-Stakeholder Dialogues
The Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI), one of ERRIN's projects, is organising Multi-Stakeholder Dialogues in 2024-2025 to identify Research & Innovation Gaps that need to be bridged to boost the circular economy at the local and regional level. Experts are invited to express their interest in participating in the CCRI Dialogues to share their research and innovation needs and feed into the design of the Horizon Europe 2025-2027 calls.
ERRIN end of year reception - 2023 Highlights
On 7 December, ERRIN celebrated the network’s achievements in 2023. Following an engaging meeting with leaders of our 15 Working Groups, all ERRIN members were invited to a cocktail reception featuring a keynote from Markus Schulte, Head of Cabinet of Iliana Ivanova, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth. A look forward: Launching ERRIN reflections on regional dimension in R&I post-2027
Autumn 2023 marked the start of ERRIN’s targeted reflections on regional dimension in research and innovation in the new EU Multiannual Financial Framework post-2027, relating to the next EU Framework Programme for R&I (FP10) and future cohesion policy. European Cancer Imaging Initiative launched
Earlier this week, the European Commission launched the European Cancer Imaging Initiative, part of Europe's Beating Cancer Plan. The initiative will support healthcare providers, research institutes and innovators in making the best use of innovative data-driven solutions for cancer treatment and care. The first version of the platform is expected to be released by the end of 2024, with the final release expected by the end of 2025

Final release of the DT4REGIONS platform out now
DT4REGIONS, a project in which ERRIN is a partner, has launched its final release of the DT4REGIONS platform. With the final release, all those interested in the digital transformation of the public sector can now submit related DT Stories and DT Solutions directly on the platform. At the heart of the project, these will serve to unlock experience sharing, mutual learning and connecting with the community of practitioners and experts across Europe.

Digital Europe Advanced Digital Skills call for digital tech education funding- Deadline 24 January
Digital Europe programme's call on Advanced Digital Skills 'Specialised education programmes or modules in key capacity areas' is open until 24 January 2023. With a budget of €56m, HaDEA will be funding education programmes in digitaltech, jointly designed by universities, research centres & businesses.

Call for digital tools for cultural heritage under the C4Education project
Within the framework of C4Education, a call for projects has been launched to populate the Virtual Lab for Digital Heritage Tools. The Creative Innovation Lab project is looking for digital cultural heritage apps with the prospect of economic and societal impact that are already developed and validated in relevant environments. The deadline for the submission of proposals is 31 January 2023.
