Transport
The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

Online training event for Horizon Europe Cluster 5 applicants
The network of Horizon Europe National Contact Points (NCPs) for Cluster 5 ‘Climate, Energy and Mobility’ – GREENET will organise online training for stakeholders from all types of organisations planning to submit a project application on a topic of the calls opened on May 4, 2023. The TRAMI project, in collaboration with ERRIN, is organising a Mutual Learning Event exploring the role of industry, academia and public authorities in achieving the objectives of the five EU Missions through triple helix collaboration. The Cities Mission Platform extends its support to all European cities
The Cities Mission Platform, supporting the work of the 112 Mission Cities towards climate neutrality, is now extending part of its support to any European city aiming to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 at the latest. Through this programme, cities across Europe will be able to learn from the approaches implemented by Mission Cities, engage in online and in-person city-to-city exchanges at the EU and national level, and gain access to the online Mission Portal and its resources. The European Capital of Innovation Awards
In 2024, the European Innovation Council is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the European Capital of Innovation Awards. The competition rewards those European cities that are courageous enough to open their governance practices to experimentation and push the boundaries of technology for the benefit of their citizens. In addition to the monetary reward, the prize brings high visibility in the form of renewed public interest and increased media coverage. The deadline for submission is 18 June 2024, 17:00.

2Zero partnership publishes a new Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) as the result of consultations held from January 2023. It includes the feedback received after the publication of two Work Programmes (2021-2022 and 2023-2024) and 32 projects selected for funding. The updated SRIA considers the most recent developments in pertinent legislation, such as Fit for 55, AFIR, Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy.

ERRIN end of year reception - 2023 Highlights
On 7 December, ERRIN celebrated the network’s achievements in 2023. MOSAIC wraps up a successful co-creation journey with EU cities
