This project addresses the challenges occurring from marine pollution caused by waste from fishing activities, in line with among others the Single Use Plastic Directive and the Port Reception Facilities Directive. The reduction of the marine pollution and preservation of marine fauna have high attention from the Commission where marine habitats, including seabed suffer negative effects e.g. from lost or otherwise discarded fishing gears.

A scientific poster session will offer the opportunity to project stakeholders to present their territorial or technological innovation actions carried out in the transport and mobility sectors. The call for papers is open until March 24, 2023.
The final list of the EU Mission on Adaptation Charter signatories and Friends has been published. Over 300 entities are now part of the community of practice on adaptation to climate change launched on 26 January 2023 in Brussels. The launch of the Mission Implementation Platform MIP4Adapt is planned for April.
