Transport
The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

Youth engagement in the green transition
ERRIN Transport WG, alongside ERRIN's member cities and regions, are organising 'youth engagement and green transition', an event to discuss how to reach the mission goal with representatives from the institutions, public authorities and young delegates. The event will take place on 11 October as part of the European Week of Regions and Cities.

RECIPROCITY second Mobility Mission - Helsinki
RECIPROCITY, project in which ERRIN is a partner, is organising its second Mobility Mission in Helsinki, Finland on 5 -7 October 2022. The event is free of charge. Participants can apply for a travel voucher to get reimbursed for travel and accommodation expenses.
European Research and Innovation Days 2022
The European Research and Innovation Days (RiDaysEU) is the European Commission’s annual flagship Research and Innovation event. This year’s edition will take place online on 28 – 29 September.
Urban Mobility Days
Urban Mobility Days 2022 will be held on 20-22 September in the city of Brno, Czech Republic. During plenary session 2 on 'TEN-T Urban Nodes', (9:30 AM -10:50 AM | 09/22/2022) Françoise Guaspare, Senior Policy Advisor, Île-de-France Europe and co-leader of the Transport WG will intervene by presenting some key points of our ERRIN Polis opinion on the TEN-T regulation.
Transport WG meeting: Presentation of the 2023-2024 Horizon Europe calls and updates on the ERRIN-POLIS opinion on the TEN-T regulation
After the summer break, the Transport WG will meet again on September 8 from 14:30 to 16:30. The meeting will be an occasion to introduce our new WG leader, Anna Tranberg, Stockholm Region EU Office, provide an update on the ERRIN-POLIS opinion on the TEN-T regulation, and present the 2023-2024 Horizon Europe calls with Marina Martínez, CDTI-SOST Office.

ERRIN at the Cities Mission Conference and EURESFO 2024
This year, the Cities Mission Conference will take place in Valencia, Spain, on 25-26 June. ERRIN will participate in the conference as a partner in the NetZeroCities project, which manages the Cities Mission Platform. As the event is partly organised in collaboration with the European Urban Resilience Forum this year, ERRIN will also be there to promote its two Mission Adaptation projects: RESIST and Pathways2Resilience.
Cities Mission Enabling City Transformation call now open!
The Cities Mission Platform has opened a call for the Enabling City Transformation Programme. The Enabling City Transformation call invites Mission Cities to propose innovative actions to overcome systemic challenges faced when implementing climate action. This 18-month programme aims to foster large-scale, city-wide transformation, building upon and progressing beyond the Pilot Cities programme. The call is open until 14 October.
ERRIN two-page input on FP10 for the attention of the Expert Group
As the work towards the next EU Framework Programme for R&I (FP10) continues, ERRIN is pleased to share its two-page input for the attention of the Expert Group on the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe. The document is a concise compilation of the reflections on FP10 done at ERRIN so far, highlighting topics of key importance. Work on a series of broader input papers is underway.
ERRIN is looking for a Head of projects - Extended Deadline
In view of the upcoming departure of ERRIN's current Director of projects, Ryan Titley, ERRIN is looking for a replacement to start in September 2024. The new colleague will work closely with the ERRIN Director on strategic planning, and lead the implementation and development of ERRIN's current and future project portfolio. Extended deadline: Applications are open until 26 May at 17.00 CEST.

DG RTD has recently released a thematic report titled "Overview of Public Engagement in Research & Innovation", which provides an introductory overview of Public Engagement in Research and Innovation in Europe. CircularInvest helps cities and regions implement circular strategies by removing obstacles and closing the gap between circular economy project promoters and investors. A new CircularInvest call has been launched for project promotors who want to increase the investment readiness level of their local and regional circular economy projects.
