The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

The event will take place on 11 October as part of the European Week of Regions and Cities.

RECIPROCITY second Mobility Mission - Helsinki

RECIPROCITY, project in which ERRIN is a partner, is organising its second Mobility Mission in Helsinki, Finland on 5 -7 October 2022. The event is free of charge. Participants can apply for a travel voucher to get reimbursed for travel and accommodation expenses.

European Research and Innovation Days 2022

The European Research and Innovation Days (RiDaysEU) is the European Commission’s annual flagship Research and Innovation event. This year’s edition will take place online on 28 – 29 September.

Urban Mobility Days

Urban Mobility Days 2022 will be held on 20-22 September in the city of Brno, Czech Republic. During plenary session 2 on 'TEN-T Urban Nodes', (9:30 AM -10:50 AM | 09/22/2022) Françoise Guaspare, Senior Policy Advisor, Île-de-France Europe and co-leader of the Transport WG will intervene by presenting some key points of our ERRIN Polis opinion on the TEN-T regulation.

The European Capital of Innovation Awards

In 2024, the European Innovation Council is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the European Capital of Innovation Awards. The competition rewards those European cities that are courageous enough to open their governance practices to experimentation and push the boundaries of technology for the benefit of their citizens. In addition to the monetary reward, the prize brings high visibility in the form of renewed public interest and increased media coverage. The deadline for submission is 18 June 2024, 17:00. 

2Zero partnership publishes a new Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA)

2Zero partnership publishes a new Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) as the result of consultations held from January 2023. It includes the feedback received after the publication of two Work Programmes (2021-2022 and 2023-2024) and 32 projects selected for funding. The updated SRIA considers the most recent developments in pertinent legislation, such as Fit for 55, AFIR, Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy.

Deadline extension: application for the Cities Mission Twinning Learning Programme

Deadline extended until 7 June! Cities across the EU and Horizon Europe Associated Countries can apply to join the EU Cities Mission’s Twinning Learning Programme between 8 April and 7 June 2024. Facilitated by the NetZeroCities project, in which ERRIN is a partner, the Twinning Learning Programme will pair applicants with the second cohort of Pilot Cities, who act as innovation hubs to pursue activities related to rapid decarbonisation.

The third Call for Proposals of the European Urban Initiative- Innovative Actions is now open

The third EUI-Innovative Actions (EUI-IA) Call for Proposals is now open and will close on 14 October 2024 at 14.00 CEST, with an allocated indicative budget of EUR 90 million ERDF. The call is targeting innovative projects focusing on two topics: 'energy transition' and 'technology in cities'.

Sohjoa Last Mile Survey - the obstacles of automated public transport in the European Single Market

Feedback is sought on automated public transport obstacles in the European single market. The survey results will be used in the Sohjoa Last Mile research project and answers will be processed anonymously.
