Deadline extended until 7 June! Cities across the EU and Horizon Europe Associated Countries can apply to join the EU Cities Mission’s Twinning Learning Programme between 8 April and 7 June 2024. Facilitated by the NetZeroCities project, in which ERRIN is a partner, the Twinning Learning Programme will pair applicants with the second cohort of Pilot Cities, who act as innovation hubs to pursue activities related to rapid decarbonisation.
2Zero partnership publishes a new Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) as the result of consultations held from January 2023. It includes the feedback received after the publication of two Work Programmes (2021-2022 and 2023-2024) and 32 projects selected for funding. The updated SRIA considers the most recent developments in pertinent legislation, such as Fit for 55, AFIR, Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy.

The European Commission launched a call for technical assistance to support communities of stakeholders working with ports, islands and fisheries. ERRIN has been invited to join a preparatory action proposal (Ref CNECT/2020/3855382) to establish a pan-European tool (‘the EU Platform for Regions’) that facilitates the uptake and use of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data by regional and local public administrations across Europe.
