The Climate Adaptation Task Force builds on previous ERRIN's work around the EU Mission on Adaptation. ERRIN became a Friend of the Mission in 2022, alongside 130 of its member cities and regions, and provided input on the Mission Charter

The Smart Cities and Bioeconomy Working Groups are looking for examples of innovative solutions for greening cities, to be presented in an upcoming meeting on the Nature Restoration Law on 26 October. The aim of the meeting is to jointly explore innovative solutions that can help cities to fulfil the restoration requirements for urban ecosystems presented by the new law. The NetZeroCities project, in which ERRIN is a partner, has opened a second Call for Pilot Cities. Mission Cities which are not yet part of the Pilot Cities Programme can apply to test and implement innovative approaches towards rapid decarbonisation.
