Health
ERRIN’s Health Working Group (WG) supports members with early intelligence and regular updates about EU-level health policy-related issues, regulations, EU programmes and their funding opportunities. Creating opportunities for interregional cooperation in the Health area is one of the WG’s main objectives. The WG is also a vehicle for networking, profile raising and promoting good practices and projects among health stakeholders in the ERRIN regions.

ALEC IV International Congress "Elderly People in the World in the 21st Century. Learning to live together."
The International Network of Latin America, Africa, Europe, the Caribbean (ALEC) is organizing, with the help of Autonom’Lab/Gérontopôle Nouvelle-Aquitaine, living lab focused on active and healthy ageing, on 6th, 7th and 8th September 2021 in Limoges (France) its IV International Congress : " Elderly People in the World in the 21st Century. Learning to live together".
Horizon Europe brokerage events
Six brokerage events are being organised to following their corresponding cluster at the Horizon Europe Info Days. The events, organised by different partners, will provide opportunities for applicants to meet, discuss their research, ideas and expertise with potential new partners and build consortia for the new Horizon Europe calls.
Launch of the EC Knowledge Centre on Cancer
The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) is establishing an EC Knowledge Centre on Cancer (KCC) and will launch the new initiative on 30 June.

DigitalHealthEurope is teaming up with the RSCN Network for the interactive webinar 'Successful Funding Pathways for Digital Health'. The session will be a chance to learn all about securing and combining funding at different levels to advance your own digital health and care agendas.
Horizon Europe brokerage event: Funding calls for nature-based solutions
As part of the Connecting Nature project's virtual enterprise summit, a Horizon Europe brokerage event on funding calls for nature-based solutions will be organised on 30th June between 10:00-11:30 CEST.
Horizon Europe info-days
The European Commission has announced the first edition of the Horizon Europe info-days, which will take place over 10 days, divided into nine themes. From 28 June to 9 July 2021, the event will give prospective applicants insight into the novelties, main funding instruments and processes of Horizon Europe.

A Danish start-up that has developed an innovative online platform assisting educational institutions to address, measure, and evaluate the satisfaction of students, thereby preventing early drop-outs, is looking for partners for an Erasmus+ call.
Open Call: New European Bauhaus Booster 2.0 – deadline 13 March
On 16 January, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) published a call to support and help to foster the New European Bauhaus transformations. It targets European startups or scale-ups developing innovative solutions with deliberate consideration given to the NEB values. Successful applicants will be welcomed in the EIT Community NEB acceleration program that will be tailored to each company. The deadline for application is 13 March.
European Cancer Imaging Initiative launched
Earlier this week, the European Commission launched the European Cancer Imaging Initiative, part of Europe's Beating Cancer Plan. The initiative will support healthcare providers, research institutes and innovators in making the best use of innovative data-driven solutions for cancer treatment and care. The first version of the platform is expected to be released by the end of 2024, with the final release expected by the end of 2025

The MISTLETOE (iMprovIng acceSs To paLliative care for pEople wiThOut cancer) proposal aims at developing a systems level multidimensional person-centred palliative care intervention at the interface between specialist and community/primary care for people without cancer and their care partners and formal care givers, by combining established evidence-based collaborative, fundamental nursing and specialist person-centred clinical and psychosocial palliative care models.
Commission launches call for evidence on 'A comprehensive approach to mental health'
DG SANTE has launched a 'have your say' call for evidence on the Commission Communication 'A comprehensive approach to mental health', that is expected in Q2 this year. The call for evidence closes on 15 February 2023.
