ICT
The main objective of the ICT Work Group is to act as a platform to discuss and share information on ICTrelated initiatives and funding opportunities in relation to the European Commission’s policy priority “A Europe fit for the digital age”. Especially highlighting the regional dimension of the ICT-field, the WG aims to create opportunities for interregional cooperation in the field of ICT by linking with other areas and sectors such as smart cities, energy, transport, health or culture.

EU Digital Health Tech & Innovation Conference
EU Digital Health Tech & Innovation Conference will take place in person on 27 September in Brussels. The objective of the conference is to present the latest EU policies, initiatives and trends in digital health, present funding opportunities for digital health projects, as well as showcase innovative business models from organizing countries.
CEF Digital Matchmaking: 5G for Smart Communities
On 20 September from 10:00-12:00 CEST, the European Commission is organising an online information and matchmaking event dedicated to the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Digital programme's second call for proposals for ‘5G for Smart Communities’. The call is tentatively planned from mid-October 2022 to mid-February 2023.
Open Source Driving the European Digital Decade
The aim of the event is to raise awareness of the use of Open Source technologies with a special focus on the digitization of public administration (and the academic sector) and to start a discussion on the establishment of the so-called National Open Source Program Office (OSPO). This office (OSPO) would aim to help specifically the public (and academic) sector to introduce open innovation in public administration and to promote cooperation across the EU in this area.

Czech Presidency Conference on Synergies in the Research and Innovation Funding in Europe
As one of the first events in its programme, the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU will organise a flagship conference "Synergies in the Research and Innovation Funding in Europe" on 7-8 July 2022 in Prague. The conference shall be held as a physical event, but following web streaming will be available. Pre-registration is obligatory.

Experts are invited to express their interest in participating in the CCRI Dialogues to share their research and innovation needs and feed into the design of the Horizon Europe 2025-2027 calls.
ERRIN end of year reception - 2023 Highlights
On 7 December, ERRIN celebrated the network’s achievements in 2023. Following an engaging meeting with leaders of our 15 Working Groups, all ERRIN members were invited to a cocktail reception featuring a keynote from Markus Schulte, Head of Cabinet of Iliana Ivanova, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth. A look forward: Launching ERRIN reflections on regional dimension in R&I post-2027
Autumn 2023 marked the start of ERRIN’s targeted reflections on regional dimension in research and innovation in the new EU Multiannual Financial Framework post-2027, relating to the next EU Framework Programme for R&I (FP10) and future cohesion policy. Public consultation on digitalising the energy sector open
The European Commission has launched a public consultation on digitalising the energy sector as part of the preparation of a Commission Action Plan on the Digitalisation of the energy system, due for publication in the first semester 2022.
