ERRIN's DT4REGIONS project is organising a two-day conference, concluding and presenting the work undertaken in the first year of its duration and setting the stage for future actions. The event will take place on 28-29 June 2022 in a hybrid mode; speakers and partners will be present on-site in Barcelona and registered participants will be able to join online.
ERRIN's Spring Annual General Meeting will be held this year on 23 June at 15:00-17:30 CEST followed by a networking cocktail from 18:00 CEST. In addition to discussing formal issues and offering an opportunity to network, the event will feature debates around the new European Innovation Agenda.
The European Committee of the Regions and the European Commission are organising the first Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP) event of the year. The Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI), one of ERRIN's projects, is organising Multi-Stakeholder Dialogues in 2024-2025 to identify Research & Innovation Gaps that need to be bridged to boost the circular economy at the local and regional level. Autumn 2023 marked the start of ERRIN’s targeted reflections on regional dimension in research and innovation in the new EU Multiannual Financial Framework post-2027, relating to the next EU Framework Programme for R&I (FP10) and future cohesion policy. The program helps to keep users self-sufficient by keeping the body supple. Hereby, Erasmus+ project through cross-collaboration with elderly nursing homes, health and education institutions, associations want to contribute to The HealthyLifestyle4All Initiative and create a cross-country platform supporting and promoting a healthy lifestyle, movement, and sport for the elderly in nursing homes.
On 16 December the European Commission adopted the first Work Programme for the digital part of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF Digital), defining the scope and aims of the EU-supported actions needed to improve Europe's digital connectivity infrastructures for 3 years. Over €1 billion will be dedicated to these actions in funding in 2021-2023.
ERRIN’s DT4REGIONS project is gaining pace. We invite all regional and local administrations with an interest in digital transformation to take part in a survey as part of DT4REGIONS stakeholder mapping and capacity building efforts, carried out in collaboration with the Living-in.EU initiative. Gathered input will contribute to shaping the future DT4REGIONS platform.
The ambition of this project is to contribute to more equality in health by working on ways to secure that marginalized citizens and vulnerable people with one or more chronical disease profit from prevention care and interventions increasing their individual health literacy. To reach this ambition, the project aims for two general goals: • Increasing organizational health literacy among relevant public or private actors delivering public services to marginalized citizens. • Increasing the individual health literacy of marginalized citizens with one or more chronical disease. Digital tools and services are used as a tool to reach the ambition of the project with the underlining assumption, that the use of digital tools and services support the increase of organizational as well as individual health literacy. The project is innovative in taking on the perspective of the citizens and investigating ways of using digital tools and services to break from the existing hierarchical organization in
The European Commission has adopted three work programmes for the Digital Europe Programme, outlining the objectives and specific topic areas that will receive a total of nearly €2 billion in funding. The first set of calls for proposals under the Digital Europe Programme was also launched in digital tech and European Digital Innovation Hubs.
Between 4 and 18 October, ERRIN members could put forward their candidatures for this year’s ERRIN Management Board elections. Three new Management Board members were selected.
