The 7th edition of the Conference on Results from the Road Transport Research, co-organised by the European Commission, CCAM Association, EGVIAfor2Zero and ERTRAC, will be held from 5 to 7 February 2024 in Brussels, featuring representatives from key research projects presenting achievements and outlining the next steps towards realising the broader EU transport policy objectives.
The Policy Working Group will kick off 2024 with a meeting offering the latest insights about the work at the EU level towards future R&I and cohesion policies post-2027, as some of ERRIN's priority focus areas for the coming years. In October 2022, ERRIN-POLIS opinions on the revision of the TEN-T regulation have been shared with the TRAN Committee of the European Parliament. Both opinions aim to “strengthen urban nodes and innovation to enhance the capacity, sustainability, and competitiveness of European urban transport”.
Between 3 and 17 October, ERRIN members could put forward their candidatures for this year’s ERRIN Management Board elections. Five new Management Board members were selected and approved at the Autumn Annual General Meeting on 8 December.

RECIPROCITY is organising a set of three cross-border Mobility Roadmap Workshops destined and open to any interested mobility stakeholder willing to learn more about the previous results of the project and analyse different mobility use cases for replication adapted to local cases. Each of the three workshops will focus on a different geographic area of Europe – Eastern European Workshop, Central European Workshop and Western European Workshop.
The Commission has launched the Just Transition Platform (JTP) to assist MS and regions to unlock the support available through the Just Transition Mechanism. An important part of this new instrument is the exchange with stakeholders on the just transition in carbon-intensive regions. To shape this exchange, DG REGIO has launched a Call for expression of interest for members of the JTP working groups.
