Health
ERRIN’s Health Working Group (WG) supports members with early intelligence and regular updates about EU-level health policy-related issues, regulations, EU programmes and their funding opportunities. Creating opportunities for interregional cooperation in the Health area is one of the WG’s main objectives. The WG is also a vehicle for networking, profile raising and promoting good practices and projects among health stakeholders in the ERRIN regions.

Exploring Synergies between European Partnerships and EU Missions – Mutual Learning Event
ERRIN and the TRAMI project are organising a Mutual Learning Event (MLE) aiming to explore synergies between European Partnerships and EU Missions. The event will take place on Wednesday 7 February from 9:00 to 12:00 (CET) at the NCBR Brussels Office, Rue Belliard 40, Brussels.
Breakfast seminar on personalised medicine in practice – from a system to an individual perspective.
Stockholm Region EU Office is hosting a breakfast seminar on personalised medicine in collaboration with the University Alliance Stockholm Trio, EIT Health Scandinavia, Vinnova and Science for Life Laboratory at Karolinska Institute. The event will take place on 1 February, floor 5, Nordic house, Rue du Luxembourg 3.
Policy WG meeting: Kick-starting 2024: Towards R&I and cohesion policies post-2027
The Policy Working Group will kick off 2024 with a meeting offering the latest insights about the work at the EU level towards future R&I and cohesion policies post-2027, as some of ERRIN's priority focus areas for the coming years. The event will take place in person at the ERRIN premises on 30 January from 14:00-15:30, followed by networking coffee until 16:00.
European MetaCluster in Precision Medicine
MEDIC NEST Consortium is organising a conference dedicated to the launch of the MEDIC NEST European MetaCluster in Precision Medicine scheduled on January 24th in Brussels.
Health WG meeting: The 2024 EU Health Agenda
This Health WG meeting will provide an overview of the EU 2024 health agenda and a networking opportunity to start the year. The meeting will take place from 15:30-17:30 on 15 January 2024 at the ERRIN offices, Rue du Luxembourg 3 (8th floor), 1000 Brussels.

Digital Europe Advanced Digital Skills call for digital tech education funding- Deadline 24 January
Digital Europe programme's call on Advanced Digital Skills 'Specialised education programmes or modules in key capacity areas' is open until 24 January 2023. With a budget of €56m, HaDEA will be funding education programmes in digitaltech, jointly designed by universities, research centres & businesses.
Management Board elections 2022 – results
Between 3 and 17 October, ERRIN members could put forward their candidatures for this year’s ERRIN Management Board elections. Five new Management Board members were selected and approved at the Autumn Annual General Meeting on 8 December.
Horizon Europe work programme 2023-24 adopted
The Horizon Europe work programme 2023-24 has been adopted by the European Commission.
New European Innovation Agenda: Council conclusions adopted
On 2 December, the Council adopted the conclusions on the New European Innovation Agenda. We have collected some key points highlighted by the Council and ERRIN remarks on the document. The CoR opinion on the same topic, to which ERRIN provided comments, was also adopted on 1 December.
Largest public consultation on Horizon programmes 2014-2027 now open
The Commission has launched the largest public consultation ever held on the past, present and future of the European Research & Innovation Framework Programmes 2014-2027. Stakeholders are invited to share their views on the performance of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, as well as shaping the strategic orientations for the Horizon Europe Strategic Plan 2025-2027. The consultation will stay open for 12 weeks, closing in February 2023.
Kunsthal Nord is looking for project partners with a focus on anxiety and depression
This project seeks to use art as a tool for communicating the reality of the anxious and depressed to create new pathways of understanding and empathy in its audience, as well as provide a comparative framework for understanding the differences between how European nations deal with anxiety and depression.
