Health
ERRIN’s Health Working Group (WG) supports members with early intelligence and regular updates about EU-level health policy-related issues, regulations, EU programmes and their funding opportunities. Creating opportunities for interregional cooperation in the Health area is one of the WG’s main objectives. The WG is also a vehicle for networking, profile raising and promoting good practices and projects among health stakeholders in the ERRIN regions.

Horizon Europe brokerage events
Six brokerage events are being organised to following their corresponding cluster at the Horizon Europe Info Days. The events, organised by different partners, will provide opportunities for applicants to meet, discuss their research, ideas and expertise with potential new partners and build consortia for the new Horizon Europe calls.
Launch of the EC Knowledge Centre on Cancer
The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) is establishing an EC Knowledge Centre on Cancer (KCC) and will launch the new initiative on 30 June.

REGIONS2030: Call for expression of interest - deadline extended
The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) is inviting European regions to express their interest to contribute to the Pilot Project "REGIONS2030: Monitoring the SDGs in the EU regions - Filling the data gaps", supported by the European Parliament. The deadline for submitting an expression of interest is now extended until 10 October 2022.
DT4REGIONS Ideathon: AI potential in Preventive Health Care

Support for Resilience: Supporting resilience and mental wellbeing through the Support for Resilience toolbox for healthcare providers in primary and community care
There is a joint problem in EU’s primary and community care with: a) a lack of healthcare professionals, and b) a major mismatch of capacity and demands causing stress, burnout, uncertainty, and reduced mental health and wellbeing among healthcare workers, leaders, and informal care givers. New members of the EU Missions Boards announced
Yesterday the European Commission announced 75 new top experts who will advise on the five EU Missions through serving on their Boards. ERRIN is thrilled that Françoise Guaspare from Île-de-France Europe, one of the Transport Working Group leaders, will join the Mission Board of the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission.

ERRIN Spring AGM 2024

Training workshop: Making innovation work for society
The REINFORCING project will host a series of training workshops focused on enhancing innovation through co-creation. These workshops will cover identifying societal needs, methods for integrating co-creation into research and innovation, and developing skills for effective uptake and facilitation.
