The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

WIRE 2026: Future Regions: The Role of Sustainable Innovation in European Competitiveness
Hosted during Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union and co-funded by the European Commission through Horizon Europe, WIRE 2026 – the Week of Innovative Regions in Europe – will take place on 2–3 December 2026 at the Millennium Theatre, Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), Limerick, Ireland.
Cities at the Core: celebrating 10 years of the Urban Agenda for the EU
European Urban Initiative organises 'Cities at the Core: 10 Years of the Urban Agenda for the EU and the way ahead', taking place on 17–18 November 2026 in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Marking a decade since the signing of the Pact of Amsterdam and the launch of the Urban Agenda for the EU (UAEU), the event will bring together cities, regions, EU institutions, researchers and urban practitioners to reflect on ten years of multi-level cooperation and to discuss the future of EU urban policy.

Case studies: The role of regions in the Mission on 100 climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030
As part of its work within the NetZeroCities project, ERRIN has developed three case studies showcasing the critical role that regions can play in the EU Mission on climate-neutral and smart cities, using examples from ERRIN member regions. With their climate-related competencies and responsibilities within national governance structures, and role in implementing national policies and facilitating financing, regions are uniquely positioned to support cities in achieving their climate neutrality goals.

Through this position paper, RECIPROCITY presents a comprehensive set of recommendations aimed at aiding local and regional authorities and European institutions in supporting the use of drones for passengers and goods transportation at local level.
