ERRIN’s Health Working Group (WG) supports members with early intelligence and regular updates about EU-level health policy-related issues, regulations, EU programmes and their funding opportunities. Creating opportunities for interregional cooperation in the Health area is one of the WG’s main objectives. This first SEFS WG meeting will kick off the European Year of Skills in the ERRIN network and is open to members of all Working Groups. ERRIN members will have an in-depth look at the Pact for Skills and we will learn about the state of play of this first flagship of the new European Skills Agenda. We will also discuss with the European Commission the regional dimension of the Pact for Skills, the Regional Skills Partnerships and showcase examples from the Lombardy Region and the European Chemical Regions Network.
As part of the EU Mission on Cancer, the conference “Addressing the Needs of Young Cancer Survivors” aims to put a face on the quality of life for survivors of childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood cancer, creating a safe space where they will be offered the possibility to share their experiences. The event will be held online on 7 February from 08:30.

Further to the Health WG meeting on the Cancer Mission, EUREGHA and ERRIN have decided to address the Cancer Mission Board with a statement to emphasise the role of regions in this mission.
Between 3 and 17 October, ERRIN members could put forward their candidatures for this year’s ERRIN Management Board elections. Five new Management Board members were selected and approved at the Autumn Annual General Meeting on 8 December.
The Horizon Europe work programme 2023-24 has been adopted by the European Commission.
On 2 December, the Council adopted the conclusions on the New European Innovation Agenda. We have collected some key points highlighted by the Council and ERRIN remarks on the document. The CoR opinion on the same topic, to which ERRIN provided comments, was also adopted on 1 December.
The Commission has launched the largest public consultation ever held on the past, present and future of the European Research & Innovation Framework Programmes 2014-2027. Stakeholders are invited to share their views on the performance of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, as well as shaping the strategic orientations for the Horizon Europe Strategic Plan 2025-2027. The consultation will stay open for 12 weeks, closing in February 2023.
This project seeks to use art as a tool for communicating the reality of the anxious and depressed to create new pathways of understanding and empathy in its audience, as well as provide a comparative framework for understanding the differences between how European nations deal with anxiety and depression.
The European Commission has published the draft 2023-2024 Horizon Europe work programmes. The drafts have not yet been adopted or endorsed by the European Commission, but have been made available to provide potential participants with the currently expected overview of this work programme.

We are looking for daycare institution within Erasmus+ eligible countries that wants to become better to engage Ukrainian children in their daily activities of the institution. Movement with “Action Kids” in Ukrainian – a break in everyday life to the children of the war. Too many children and young people don’t exercise. Too many children and young people sit down too much, move to little in general and have way too much screen time by the computer, the tablet or their phone. Studies show that children up to 3rd class aren’t motivated enough to exercise during a regular week. This can lead to problems such as obesity and lifestyle-related diseases in the long term – and in the short term it causes learning difficulties and poor motor functions. The movement concept Action Kids can help solve this! This is documented through 10 years of ongoing development of the movement concept, which is tailored to children between the ages of 3 to 6 years old.
